My name is Susan Kelly and I started this blog as a means to get my stories out for everyone to enjoy. I have written a book that is a collection of short stories about my experiences pheasant hunting as a newcomer with a bunch of middle aged seasoned pheasant hunters, all men. I am trying to get it published at this time. I poke fun at the dogs, my hunting partners, the “old ways” and most of all me. I don’t take myself too seriously in life and in literature. I’ve started writing about some of my challenges in life, love and marriage, too. It’s kind of the same as hunting.
I hope you enjoy these stories, recipes and pictures as much as I did writing and snapping them. Please let me know what you think.
