I love to be outdoors, hiking, pheasant hunting, playing with my dogs. And I love to take pictures of the things I see and write about my experiences. I don't take life too seriously, I poke fun at myself and just about everybody else. I've gotten selfish as I've gotten older.

This is so true. I see so many of my neighbors and extended family members in this situation and yet they can’t understand why the more they have the less fulfilled they feel. If only people would realize that all that “stuff” will never help them attain a life grounded in deep, meaningful relationships that promote true happiness. I happened across your blog and am glad I did. I look forward to reading more. ~ Tilly
That’s so nice, Tilly. Thank you so much for reading. I’m glad you stopped by.
It seems that we are all caught up in the “more is better” and have lost the emotional connections.
You probably described quite a few people here.
I think there are a lot people like this all over. I feel like that sometimes too. There are times when I wish I could just chuck it all away and live on a beach somewhere where there were no phones, tv or internet. Then reality sets in and I go back to the grind. Oh well, maybe someday.
