I love to be outdoors, hiking, pheasant hunting, playing with my dogs. And I love to take pictures of the things I see and write about my experiences. I don't take life too seriously, I poke fun at myself and just about everybody else. I've gotten selfish as I've gotten older.

How hot is it there Susan? My Suki (the shelti) is such a diva she won’t go to the end of the block
It was in the mid-nineties with our normal high humidity. On those days the walks are short.
How about a spray with the hose instead???
They aren’t that fond of the hose. The hose to them means a bath.
Interesting – same with Ruby actually. Cold hose down in the morning means she stands still looking very disdainfully at me. But when I’m watering the veggies with the hose she’s jumping all over the place, chasing the water and play bowing – interesting!
They know…they know the difference between bath and play, little stinkers. They are just too smart for their own good.
I could use a pool too. Maybe we could start a dog strike and insist on pools.
That might just work.
The expression in the first photo – it is almost like a human:)
Yes they do sometimes.
