We’re having the usual August heat wave, which seems so much more miserable because this summer we have been very lucky to have had very pleasant temperatures in the eighties instead of the usual nineties. But just in case we’re feeling sorry for ourselves and wishing for some cooler temperatures I just want to remind everyone of what is coming sooner than we want.
Just saying, it may be hot now but way too soon it will be cold and miserable.

What is that white stuff? I live in Florida — I’d settle for cool once in a while.
I can live with once in awhile. The problem is that around here once in awhile can stretch into a long while. I should come to Florida during that time.
You definitely should – My human tells me winter can old. He went to college up north and says the white turns gray to match the sky and that gets boring in say March!
Your human is right. It gets really old and depressing after awhile.
