We took a mini road trip, 30 miles or so, and visited the snow. We drove up to Mount Baker in the Cascades to take the dogs for a bit of hiking in the snow. The dogs had a great time and got to run around off leash for the first time in a long time.
Visiting the Snow

I love to be outdoors, hiking, pheasant hunting, playing with my dogs. And I love to take pictures of the things I see and write about my experiences. I don't take life too seriously, I poke fun at myself and just about everybody else. I've gotten selfish as I've gotten older. View all posts by susank456

Wow how different than where I live – the High yesterday was 86. It’s great to see the difference and imagine the chill.
It was about 15 degrees colder than where we live. Funny how much 30 miles away makes such a difference.
Great pix, & the dogs were obviously near heaven….
Not a snow, or, for that matter, cold weather kinda guy, myself, but, it’s pretty…. I can deal with it if I’m in it, but, the only thing I can think the whole time is, “WHY am I even here?”….

It’s not so bad when I’m just visiting and can go home and leave it behind.
Aye; as I said, ’tis beautiful, even if one has to be in it…. Kills my arthritis, these days…
That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it….

The dogs look happy! It’s gone back warm again here. But windy n wet, yay. No snow for us! Glad you get to enjoy some.
